A trip to Italy changed the course of Bill Mosby's winemaking journey. Originally part of a Spanish land grant, this vineyard was initially planted to Santa Barbara County's star performers--Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. But a visit to Italy inspired Bill to take a risk and plant Italian grape varieties including Dolcetto, Sangiovese, and Pinot Grigio. The grapes thrived in this microclimate. We'll take you out to the vineyard and hear from Bill about some of Santa Barbara County's winemaking history.
